Francisco Henriques began his professional career at Pepsi Foods International, where he spent 12 years as a trainer and salesperson. After leaving, he graduated in Highway Law and dedicated himself to teaching driving, working at schools in Spain, where he reached the pinnacle of his career with the position of Director.

Having dedicated much of his life to education, the turning point came when his wife, Teresa Henriques, invited him to partner with her in a pastry business. Because the project was so unique and ambitious, he accepted immediately, thinking it would be temporary, but he liked it so much that he stayed. They first founded the National Association of Cake Designers, hosting internationally recognized events like Cake Alive. They won gold medals in international competitions, becoming the first Portuguese to achieve this.

At the same time, he continued to pursue his professional career in his field, but his projects were evolving significantly over time, and he accepted another challenge: founding the Professional Academy. Today, he is immensely proud to be one of the leaders of this institution that has made its mark on the history of Portuguese cake design. With the knowledge acquired over the years, he channeled his full potential to become a Training Manager and instructor in sculpted and structured cakes. The Academy has gained credibility, and its professional level is now very high. It is an institution distinguished by its attitude, always supported by quality and innovation.
